Results
Restult to date is showing stronger growth vs LY in the doors with the new Revlon Wall unit compared to the doors that have the "old" Wall Unit.
Primary Materials & Techniques Used In Manufacture
The design intent of this unit was to create an innovative and agile display system which was versatile, allowing for display arrangements to be easily and cost effectively updated or reconfigured while minimising the number of components typically used with a wall display unit of this nature.
Illumination of the products on shelf and the testers was of paramount importance to enhance the shopability of the display.
The rear wall of the unit consists of a series of lightboxes which deliver the capability of updateable graphic options, which can be changed out very quickly. This addresses the need to remodel for changing campaigns and promotions.
The unit also needed to remain true to the Revlon dna and have the ability to showcase current Revlon imagery, branding and promotions.
Sustainability - low daily maintenance, designed with a view to minimum requirement of maintenance and attention in self serve retail environment.

Marketing at Retail Objectives
For the transport of drinks, previously venues have provided flimsy cardboard or plastic trays.
These trays are awkward to use and are a two handed operation that often result in spilled drinks.
Problems with the Cardboard trays:
· Drinks aren’t held upright and therefore spill.
· Tray has to be held with two hands therefore the consumer can’t maneuver easily through the crowd.
· Two-handed grip encourages spillage onto consumer.
· The trays quickly become soggy and/or broken & unusable.
As Industrial Designers we knew that we could build a better Drink Tray. We recognized however, that the value was only partly in the device itself. Its greater potential was to deliver something useful to the brand owner’s current/potential clients. Something they hold in their hands, something with which they can experience a tangible connection.
We also had a sustainability goal, to design something that could help improve our environment and minimize waste to landfill.
Results
Steinfinger’s are as good for the environment as they are for building your advertising business.
They are constructed from 100% recycled cardboard and with recycled plastics, plus they are 100% recyclable & reusable. Steinfingers are produced in a way to achieve the goal of zero waste to landfill, Ultimately returning the raw material output streams back to manufacturer for re-use – effectively closing the loop.
Positve feedback has been given by the consumer. 100% of people interviewed found Steinfinger easy to use and all confirmed that there was little if no spillage during use.
After many trials, Caterers have confirmed that Steinfingers greatly facilitate the speedy processing of drinks.
Allowing them to process 20-30% more customers with the same infrastructure, in turn increasing revenue.
Primary Materials & Techniques Used In Manufacture
The unit is injection moulded in polypropylene (recycled bottle caps are used when available) and is assembled with a printed advertising collar. The collars are produced using a recycled moisture resistant board and printed with vegetable based inks.
They are distributed to the venue fully assembled, ready for use by the consumer.
They key environmental design feature is that the unit is fully sustainable to our environment, producing zero waste to landfill. After use, in tact units are collected and re used, damaged units are fully recycled, plastic reground and re-moulded into new units, cardboard collars also recycled.
