VISY GLAMA, CREATIVE INSTORE SOLUTIONS AND 5P GROUP CONQUER MARKETING AT RETAIL

Visy Glama, Creative Instore Solutions and 5P Group demonstrated their retail marketing leadership when they took out Display of the Year at the 2010 POPAI Marketing at Retail Awards last night at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
With the objective to incrementally grow L’Oreal Paris Hair Colour portfolio with addition of men’s offering, Visy Glama created a suite of POP materials to focus on the products ease of use. Results spoke for themselves with major uplift in both grocery and pharmacy channels and the campaign being crowned the Temporary Display of the Year.
In the semi-permanent division a modular display produced by Creative Instore Solutions for Red Bull EShot offered the flexibility and small foot print to take advantage of the lucrative front of store area in the petrol and convenience environment. This Semi-Permanent Display of the Year resulted in stores with the new display recording a sales increase of Energy Shot CDU’s of over double over the previous period.
The premium pet category has seen enormous growth in the quality and creativity of displays at retail over the past 5 years. This year’s Permanent Display of the Year has seen a new racking system rolled out across 61 stores nationally and resulting in the Eukanuba share instore by an average of 15%. The system, produced by 5P Group, offers improved shopper product selection and aided in increased trial and trade up of the brand.
General Manager of POPAI Australia and New Zealand, Karen Spear, applauds this year’s winners and thanks all the entrant companies for making the contest and gala dinner a huge success.
