POPAI Mission Statement
Point-of-Purchase Advertising International (POPAI) is the only global industry association for Marketing at Retail. It is dedicated to serving its more than 1,700 members internationally by promoting, protecting and advancing the broader interest of its members and the industry through research, education, trade forums and legislative efforts. POPAI aspires to enable our industry to influence consumers' buying decisions. The association seeks to advance the evolution of those involved in Marketing at Retail as a strategic advertising medium integrated into the total marketing mix globally.
POPAI Australia & New Zealand's mission is to:
"promote, protect and advance the standards of point-of-purchase advertising in Australia & New Zealand"
Marketing at Retail Industry Ethics as established by POPAI Australia & New Zealand
Members are expected to comply with the following standards:
To abide by the laws of Australia and New Zealand governing business activity and trade practices and to act with integrity, honesty and professionalism towards suppliers and customers.
Communicate clearly and comprehensively all relevant company policies prior to entering into a business relationship, including pricing and Ownership/Intellectual Property issues.
Agree to respect the ownership of intellectual property and ensure that it is not intentionally infringed, compromised nor copied.
To consider the broad interests of the Marketing at Retail Industry for the ongoing benefit of all members.
